Terms of Use
These are short terms for using the Shirkati app. By using the app you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy. If the English and Arabic versions ever differ, the Arabic version applies.
1. The service
Shirkati is an Android app that helps a business owner record sales, installments, stock, cash boxes, suppliers and employees, and keeps them in the company's account on our servers with a copy on the device.
The app is a record-keeping tool, not a lender or financier
Shirkati is a ledger in which a merchant records what they sold to their customers in installments and what they collected. It does not provide loans or financing, does not collect or transfer money, and is not a party to any agreement between the merchant and their customers.
2. License and trial
- Each company starts with a free, full-featured trial, then needs a company license to keep adding records.
- There are no purchases or payments inside the app.
- If the license ends, your data stays visible and exportable; adding records pauses until it is renewed.
- We grant you a personal, non-exclusive right to use the app for your business. You may not copy, resell or circumvent its licensing.
3. Your responsibility for your data and others' data
- You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for your accounting, business and tax decisions.
- When you enter your customers' or employees' data (names, phones, locations, salaries), you are responsible for having the right to collect and use it under the law that applies to you, and for answering their requests about it.
- Keep the Google account you sign in with secure; records made from your account are attributed to you.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the app for unlawful activity, do not try to access another company's data, and do not attempt to disrupt the service or its servers.
5. Limitation of liability
- We work to keep the app accurate and available, but it is provided “as is”, without a guarantee that it is free of every error or interruption.
- Reports and figures are calculated from what you enter; review them before relying on them for a decision.
- To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses or lost profits arising from using, or being unable to use, the app.
6. Termination
- You may stop using the app at any time and request deletion of your account and data on the deletion page.
- We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or the law, with notice where possible.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest update. Material changes are announced inside the app.
